Terms of Service
These terms govern the use of Clair Analytics ("the app"), a private, read-only YouTube channel analytics tool operated for the YouTube channel English with Clair.
1. The service
The app retrieves YouTube account information and YouTube Analytics reports for an authorized channel through the official YouTube Data API, YouTube Analytics API and YouTube Reporting API, and turns them into local statistics and reports. The app is read-only: it does not upload, modify or delete any YouTube content, and it does not change channel settings.
2. Authorization
Use of the app requires signing in with a Google account that owns or manages the channel and granting the read-only scopes described in the Privacy Policy. You may revoke access at any time at myaccount.google.com/connections.
3. YouTube Terms
The app uses YouTube API Services. By using the app you agree to be bound by the YouTube Terms of Service. Information is handled as described in our Privacy Policy and the Google Privacy Policy.
4. Acceptable use
- Only authorize channels you own or are permitted to manage.
- Do not use the app to violate YouTube's or Google's terms or policies, or any applicable law.
5. Data accuracy
Statistics come from YouTube and may be delayed, revised, rounded, or withheld by YouTube (for example, because of privacy thresholds). The app reports missing data as unavailable rather than zero, but it does not guarantee that data is complete or accurate.
6. No warranty
The app is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, express or implied. It may stop working if YouTube or Google changes or discontinues its APIs.
7. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, the operator of the app is not liable for any indirect, incidental or consequential damages, or for decisions made on the basis of the app's reports.
8. Changes and termination
We may update these terms or discontinue the app at any time. Changes take effect when posted on this page with a new effective date. You may stop using the app at any time by revoking its access.
